Chef Philip brings the restaurant to you; crafting custom, soul-satisfying menus for private gatherings, celebrations, and once-in-a-lifetime moments.

The best memories are created breaking bread with the people you love. Chef Philip approaches these moments with heart, thoughtfulness and over thirty years experience in curating memorable culinary experiences. 

The first step in your Private Chef experience is telling us about your vision in the Private Chef Discovery Form.

schedule a call

Once you fill out the discovery form, our team will reach out to you to schedule a 15-30 minute call to discuss the details of your event. 

This is a great time to dream out loud, share your vision, the theme, the purpose of the event, the vibe, the guest count, dietary restrictions or allergies. 

Prior to the call, consider: 

-Do you want a server(s)? 

-Do you want drink service/ bartender? 

-How many courses do you want? 

-Do you want your meal plated and served? or served family style? 

Secure your date

Once you've had your discovery call with Chef Philip, it's time to start menu planning! 

We don’t do one-size-fits-all. Every event is an opportunity to create something unforgettable; flavorful, seasonal, and deeply personal. Chef Philip approaches each menu as a creative collaboration, crafted with intention and tailored to your vision.

 

Because this process takes time, skill, and care, we require a $150 deposit to begin designing your custom menu. This deposit secures your date and covers the initial creative planning and it will be applied toward the final cost of your event.

Once Chef Philip receives your "go-ahead," he'll send you an invoice to pay the deposit.

Approve the menu

Chef Philip will provide you with a custom-created menu based off of your preferences. 

Menus can sometimes be a work-in-progress. You are welcome to suggest substitutions and make requests throughout this stage of the process. 

Once you approve the final menu, you'll be one step closer to enjoying an incredible Private Chef dining experience! 

pricing

Base Chef Fee:

$625 for up to 4 hours

(includes menu planning, shopping, and meal preparation)
*Additional Time: $175 per additional hour if needed

Cost of Food:

Priced separately, based on your final menu selections. 

Please note: food costs cannot be estimated due to the fluctuating costs. A itemized receipt will be provided on the day of service. 
Optional Server Fee:

$175 for 4 hours

(recommended for groups of 8+ for a full-service experience)
Travel Fee:

*Locations within San Juan do not have a travel fee. 

 (if applicable, depending on your location. We’ll confirm once you share the address) 

Holiday Fee: 

Due to demand, a holiday fee of $150/ day will apply to any events scheduled on holidays.
